ROLAND “Ron” J. FULLER


Ron, of Watauga, TX, passed away on November 23, 2020 in Watauga, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandpa, and friend to all that knew him and loved him. He was born on December 4, 1930 in Stillwater, OK to Roland G. and Minnie Ola Fuller.

Ron attended Oklahoma State Univ. before joining the US Marine Corp in 1952. After leaving the Marine Corp in 1954 he worked at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, KS until 1972. Then he moved to MS and started work at Ingalls Ship Building as QA Inspector until retirement in 1996.

Ron accepted Christ in 1961 and has served the Church in many different positions over the years. From teaching junior boys to Church clerk, even singing in the choir and interpreting for the deaf.

Ron is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirlene Fuller; son David Fuller; daughter Mary Fuller Hester of Pascagoula, MS; Granddaughter Kendall and Ben Leach of MI; Grandson Brian and Alex Fuller of WA; two great grandsons of MI.

He was preceded in death by both parents and two sisters.

The funeral service and interment will be December 3, 2020 at DFW National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to North Fort Worth Baptist Church and/or Meals on Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County.
