Rolando Muzquiz Jr., born August 27, 1976 in Fort Worth Texas and passed away March 17, 2021 in Fort Worth Texas.
Roland was the soul of our family; he brought a limitless amount of laughter and spirit. As an accomplished Master Electrician and Contractor, he worked through his suffering and illness until his last days. The endurance and strength that he displayed while his body was waging a war, was a reflection of his resilience. Roland held a special bond with each of us, he was a mama’s boy that loved his mama’s cooking and devoutly adored his mother As a son, he dedicated himself to ensure he became the man that his father always knew he would be, intelligent, an exceptional provider to his son’s, and an extremely skilled human - a “jack-of-all-trades.” Roland was a son that would carry out any request that his parents ever asked, always respectful, and kindhearted. As a brother, he was the man that always looked out for me and my children, a person I could talk to about any aspect of life, and most importantly, a man that I know truly loved me. As a father, he was committed to providing his children an exceptional lifestyle and carried a maternal love for both of his boys. As a friend, he was the guy you always wanted to party with. The gentlemen that would always lend an ear and provide whatever advice he felt would benefit your situation. As a devoted pet owner, the love he carries for his precious Oakley is beyond a word that could ever describe how deeply he loves her. At his sickest point, he would still muster the strength to confirm she was taken care of. As a contractor, there was no better candidate to handle your electrical, remodeling, or any project needs. Roland was honest, cost effective and the most knowledgeable man you could find in DFW.
There are an infinite amount of words to describe Roland’s disposition but, yet no single word or string of words that would do him justice in this microscopic glimpse of who he was. Our small family will carry on Roland’s legacy, through our hearts and memories and honor his life by staying united.
Roland’s legacy is carried on by his son Joshua Muzquiz; his loving and devoted parents, Rolando and Lupe Muzquiz; his # 1 fan, and sidekick - sister, Noemi Muzquiz (Ohana) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. He is preceded in death by his son, Julian Muzquiz.
Family will receive friends from 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday, March 21, 2021 and from 2 pm to 4 pm, Monday, March 22, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas 76248.
