Ronald John Bieszczad, 70, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, surrounded by family in Grapevine.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church, 100 SW Alsbury Blvd., Burleson, officiated by Father Mel Bessellieu. Interment: 2:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas. Visitation: One hour prior to mass at the church.
Ronald John Bieszczad was born Jan. 9, 1947, in Peckville, Pa., son of the late John and Helen Nemetz Bieszczad. Ron honorably served in the United States Air Force for four years before enlisting in the United States Coast Guard, where he served for 20 years. After his retirement from the Coast Guard, Ron began a 20 year career with The Boeing Company as part of the space shuttle team and Department of Defense.
Outside of work, Ron loved NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys, and hunting and fishing but more than that he loved spending time with his family and friends. In fact, Ron never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anybody.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: Wife, Sharon Bieszczad of Fort Worth; children, Michael Bieszczad and wife, Darcy, of Southlake, Jennifer Hale and husband, Chad, of Tomball, and Tara Czajkowski and husband, Jacob, of Burleson; grandchildren, Marshall, Adelyn, Shelby, Knox, Jaxon, and Gemma; brother, Joseph Bieszczad and wife, Helene; sister, Marie Blackburn all of Olyphant, Pa.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
