Ronald Moates, 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 8, 2016. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday February 16 at Lucas Funeral Home
1321 Precinct Line Road Hurst, Texas. Interment: 1:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Ron was born July 5, 1936 in Childress Texas to Robert and Della Moates. He married the love of his life Evangelina Ramirez “Eva” in 1968. They immediately moved to Fort Worth where they spent 44 wonderful years together. We are blessed to have had such a loving Father and Papa. Ron lived his life with honor and dignity. Survivors: children, Sylvia Gibson, Steven Moates, Stacie Riedel and husband Darrly, Tracie Jasso and husband Jose and honorary daughter, Tandy Visor; sister Bobbie Lee Mitchell and husband James, grandchildren, Miranda, Hilary, Joey, Darryl Jr., Michael, Evangelina, Jesse, Audrey and Sydney, great grandchild, Ava Fox.
