Ronald Earl Moranville

.Ronald E. Moranville, of Southlake,TX, the son of Dr. E.C. Moranville and Grace (Scherzinger), Moranville was born August 28, 1934. He departed this life to join our Lord on November 21, 2022. His parents and siblings preceded him in death. Three brothers; Blake, Kendall, Michael and his sister, Eleanor, (Haney).
Ronald married his beloved bride, Janet Louise (Greenhalgh}, on September 12 ,1957. In their 65 years of marriage they brought forth two children. Teresa L. Hudspath; (Timothy}, of Tidioute, Pennsylvania and James Michael, {Christy), of Fort Worth, Texas. Son James preceded Ron in death. Ron was blessed with five Grandchildren; Irvin Gable, Richard Gable, Colleen McKinney, Michelle Cremin and Katlyn Gable. Additionally five step Grandchildren; Amber Bishop, Brandi Kirkpatrick, Brooke Hudspath, Tyler Hudspath and Caleb Hudspath. There have been 15 Great Grandchildren added to his family.
Ron was considered the "fun uncle" to his nieces and nephews. They will validate he played an important role in their lives. He taught them many life lessons most important, FAMILY, and "Pay yourself FIRST!"
Ron graduated Guide Rock High School in May 1952. He went on to further his education at Warrensburg University. He graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. Ron began his working days as a chemistry teacher in Belden, Nebraska. He took a career path change and went to work for the Boy Scouts of America. His career of 30 years with the Boy Scouts provided some of his favorite memories shared with special friends. He retired in 1996 as Chief Deputy Financial Officer of Operations, national level.
Ron is well known for the fisherman he was. He enjoyed playing golf. Ron loved his dogs- Boston Terriers. In his early years he became a fine wood craftsman. Ron devoted his time in later years to genealogy. He has traced his family to the Mayflower. He was a member of the Mayflower Society and was a member of the Sons of Revolutionary War.
Ron was a Patriot, proud of his country. He flew an American flag at his residence. He didn't consider himself dressed unless he wore his American Flag pin on his shirt collar.
To know Ron was to have a friend. He was always willing to help. He would like your memory of him to be a happy one. He knew the Lord had prepared a place for him and he was ready to go.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 1:00PM Watermere at Southlake; (251 Watermere Drive, Southlake,Texas 76092)
