Ronnie S Wirtz

Ronald S. Wirtz (Ronnie) Age 73, passed away Tuesday December 1st 2015.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Friday December 4th at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Visitation will be on Thursday December 3rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville

Ronnie was born June 27, 1942 in Ft. Worth. He grew up in Riverside. Ronnie had two
Brothers and a Sister. He was always the mischievous one. He liked to tease his little
Brother and Sister. He attended Amon Carter Riverside High School. Ronnie played the
Trumpet in the Jr. High and High School Band. He also played in the stage band. In 1959
he met the love of his life, Nan Morris . They started dating in Jan. of 1959, and got married
Oct. 29th, 1960. Ronnie and Nan loved spending time on the lake boating and water skiing.
He also loved to fish. Ronnie and his son Rob had a lot of good times fishing together.
Ronnie was employed by 3M Dynacolor for twenty-six years. After the company was sold he
went into business for himself. He was an Amusement Machine Vendor. He had this business
for thirty-four years. He officially retired in July of 2014.
After he retired he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors: His loving wife of 55 yrs. Nan Wirtz, daughter Sherri Murphy (Kevin) Son Robert Wirtz
(Kelly) Sister Rita Clanton, Brother Robert Wirtz (Gayle), Grandchildren, Chrystal Picon(Marcus)
Sam Schmidt, Kellie Murphy, Great Grandson Gio. Three Nieces and Six Nephews.
