Rosalie Bernice Blair, 90, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018.
Rosalie was born on May 9, 1928. She lived in California most of her life. She met her husband, Tom on a blind date and were married for 62 years.
Rosalie was one of two women who started the Head Start program in East Los Angeles in the 1960's. She was a pre-school teacher, a sunbonnet maker and a gardener. Rosalie moved to Texas from Port Angeles Washington state after the passing of her husband Tom in 2009.
Her greatest treasures were her children (2), grandchildren (5), and great-grandchildren (4).
She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Thomas Albert Blair; parents, 4 beautiful sisters and several other family members.
Son, Thomas Andrew Blair; daughter, Valorie Blair Berry; grandchildren, Chris Ellison, Kara Griser, Emily Charnelle, Thomas Carl Blair, Andrew Blair; great-grandchildren, DJ Griser, Grayson Griser, Lorelei Charnelle, Eden Andrews Blair.
