Rose Marie Izaguirre, 63, passed away December 23, 2020, surrounded by family in Fort Worth. A visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home. The family asks that due to Covid-19 concerns, you please limit physical contact and masks are required. As much as the family knows how much you all love them, your safety and theirs are of paramount importance.
Rose was born February 15, 1957 in Cleburne to Estevan and Emilia Rios Carranza and grew up in Grandview. She was proud to have received her GED in 1991 from Hill Community College in Cleburne. She began working for United Aviation Accessories as a Seamstress where she worked for 27 years. She attended St Mary’s of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church.
She married Genaro in 1975 in Cleburne, and they were married for 45 years. They had 4 children together.
Rose’s greatest joy was being with her family. She was everyone’s mother/grandmother and everyone’s friend. She loved to see those she loved happy. To know her was to know what it meant to be truly loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Estevan and Emilia Carranza; brother, Steve Carranza; and daughter, Carmela Izaguirre
Rose is survived by her spouse, Genaro Izaguirre of Fort Worth; son, Michael Izaguirre, Sr. of Krum; daughters, Theresa Izaguirre and wife, Mandi Skinner of Fort Worth and Dora Izaguirre, of Hurst; brother, Davis Carranza of Alvarado; sister, Josephine Spencer and husband, Roderick Spencer of Aquilla; grandson, Michael Izaguirre, Jr. of Anchorage, AK; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of the family and friends that prayed for Rose during her hospital stay and have continued to provide support during this difficult time.
If I should go tomorrow
It would never be goodbye,
For I have left my heart with you,
So don’t you ever cry.
The love that’s deep within me,
Shall reach you from the stars,
You’ll feel it from the heavens,
And it will heal the scars.
