Rose Marie Sanders

Rose Marie Adams Sanders, age 67, passed peacefully in her sleep on December 31st 2021 at her home in Southlake, Texas.

Rose was born on July 23, 1954 in Grapevine, Texas to Deloris Jane Perry and Bobby Gene Adams. She joins her late husband of nearly 30 years, James Royce Sanders, who passed in December 2017. Rose is survived by stepson, Jason Sanders; mother, Deloris Perry; sisters, Deborah Hardesty, DeJane Perry Kerr, Sandy Adams; brothers, Weldon Adams, Lee Perry, and countless cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, in-laws, and lifelong friends.

Besides spending time with friends and family, Rose had a passion for cruising the world, road trips, watching classic Disney movies, decorating for holidays, the Texas State Fair, taking care of animals, Euchre, emojis, and cheering on her favorite people. Rose wore her youth for her whole life, with a playful spirit and energetic personality. Her thoughtfulness touched everyone in her world, with glitter filled birthday cards, holiday messages, gussied up hospital room decorations and get-well cards; she was a walking, cackling fountain of confetti, streamers, and sequins.

Family and friends are invited to attend a festive celebration of her life. In her honor, bright, sequined, or otherwise whimsical hats are encouraged.
