Ross Alan Hammond

Ross Alan Hammond was born on February 1, 1957 and passed away on July 19, 2019 at the age of 62 years old.
Ross worked for over 20 years for Cummins Diesel as a diesel mechanic. He loved God and playing his guitar. He was a storyteller and loved to talk. He was a generous man and would give to others even when he was in need himself. His joys in life were music, his family, and close friends. He loved all types of music. It was his mission to play music whenever he could and to spoil and love his grandchildren.
Ross was preceded in death by his father, Joe Hammond and his mother, Mary (Hamilton) Hammond.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Diane Hammond of Bedford, TX; Jessica Hill and husband, Sean of Rockwall, TX; and Alana Hammond of Watauga, Texas; beloved grandchildren, Seth Lopez, Kelsey Hill, Hollie Hill, Cole Hill, Blake Bowden and Kyleigh Hill; and one brother, Carl Hammond of Euless, Texas.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel located at 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas 76053.
