Russel Jay Kibler passed away on January 29, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was 58 years of age.

Russel was born on December 7, 1962 to Helen and Harold Kibler in Warsaw, New York. He attended Sheldon Elementary in Varysburg, New York, as well as, the Attica Central School district in Attica, New York. Russel also attended Northeastern State University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Amberton University in Garland, Texas.
Russel proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy as a fire control man and retired from Naval Reserves. He was a kind-hearted man, who was gentle and loved people. Russel was a photographer, realtor, stock trader, songwriter, guitar player, cat lover, and money manager. He was an excellent host to friends and family and loved being hospitable.
Russel always reached out to homeless people to offer help and prayer. His biggest heart's desire was to connect with friends and family in spite of
his multiple health conditions. He was a man who truly had a giant heart and loved me and others deeply. Russel was an excellent listener and had numerous people over the years, say the same thing..." I'm not sure why I'm telling you this but you are so easy to talk to".
He is preceded in passing by his father and mother; and his father-in-law, John Henry Whaley.
Russel is survived by his wife, Melinda Yvonne Kibler; his beloved cat, Gracie; and his two new kittens, Prissy and Little Bit; brother, Don Kibler and his wife Toni, and their two children, Kelly Rosato and her husband Greg and Jessamie and his wife Stacy Lutz; sister, Deanna Kibler and her daughter, Aaron Dumbleton and her husband Matt; brother, Rick Kibler and his son, Cody Brown; brother, Randy Kibler and his children, Chad, Seth, and Chealsey Berg and her husband Jason.
