Russell Hayden Oxner

Russell Hayden Oxner passed away on January 11, 2021 in Grapevine, Texas. He was 76 years of age.

Russell was born on April 13, 1944 to Cecil and Velma Oxner in Moro, Arkansas. He attended Moro Elementary and graduated from Brinkley High School. Russell proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He went on to become an Aircraft Flight Engineer. Russell loved fishing and he also loved his grandchildren very much.

He is preceded in passing by his parents; his uncle, Fred Oxner; and nephew, Larry Wayne Weddington.

Russell is survived by his loving wife, Maria Oxner; sons, Kevin Holmes, Joel Holmes, Britt Holmes, and Eric Oxner; granddaughters, Adyson Holmes, Kayla Holmes, Emily Holmes, Brielle Holmes, and Isabella Jewell; grandsons, Grant Holmes and Gage Holmes; and sisters, Hazel Kitchens, Wilma Jones, and Mary Weddington.
