Ruth Brown

Ruth Brown was born on October 13, 1935 in Leflore County, OK to Earnest and Jewel Loomis and passed away on December 12, 2020 in Bedford, TX at the age of 85.

Ruth grew up in Leflore, OK and was raised with brothers, Alvin Prewett, Jack Loomis, Delbert Loomis, Bill Loomis, Jesse Loomis, Larry Loomis and Tommy Cooksey. She had one sister, Bernadean McDaniel.

She loved her family and her many close friends. She was a prayer warrior and loved God and her church.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Jewel Loomis; husband, Hershel Clyde Brown; daughters, Sue Jackson and Martha Sanchez and great grandchildren, Aleigha and Zander Vidal, and Charles Littig, III.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Rose and Vicki Ivie; grand-children, Teresa Littig, Dereck Sanchez, Jessica Vidal, Jacob Rose, Brent Rose, Katalyn Ivie, Alissa Ivie, Cherri Collins, Candy Smith, Wendy Oware and Kevin Jackson; and great grandchildren, Haylee, Heather, Kelly, Zoey, Hope, Beka, Luke, Mary, Robert, Blaze, Coal, Joshua, Emily, Allison, Hadassah, Jerimiah, Harmony and Haven.

when I stroll down the streets of pure gold;
I'll have a crown to wear beyond compare,
Put on a long white robe;
I'll find my payday at the end of the road".
