NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Ruth Ann Trantham Doty went to be with the Lord Monday, August 10, 2015 in Fort Worth.
Services: Celebration of Life at 12:00 noon Thursday, August 13, at Life Church in North Richland Hills. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Fort Worth. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst.
Memorials may be made to Life Church, 7850 Davis Blvd., North Richland Hills, 76180.
Ruth Ann was born on May 4, 1943 in Fort Worth, TX to Gordon and Becky Trantham. She graduated from Amon Carter High School in 1961. She enjoyed a long and successful career of 25 years in Human Relations at Marconi Communications.
Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved brother, Gordon Ray Trantham.
Survivors: She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Paul Adrain Doty. She was the proud mother of three: Steve (Julie) Doty, Lisa Ann (Steve) Oliphant, and Robin Pitman; the cherished grandmother of seven: Patrick, Reid & Grace Oliphant, Hunter Doty, Joshua & Elizabeth Pitman and Brooklyn Hutto; the aunt of: Mike (Lila) Trantham of Fort Worth, Mitchell (Tracia) Trantham of Midlothian, Mark (Linda) Irwin of Indiana, Michelle (Nick) Whitt of Kentucky, Ron Schuyler of Florida, Angie (Brad) Hinerman of Ohio and Nick Schuyler of Ohio and two special cousins, Debbie Harsh and Jerry Ogden.
