Hurst—Ruth Berry Walker, 97, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016.
Funeral: 11:00 AM Friday in the Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment will follow at Bourland Cemetery in Keller. Visitation: The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM prior to the service.
Ruth was born on July 30, 1918 in Grapevine to the late Jesse and Vesta Berry.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben V. Walker; and her siblings, Norma Sutton, Jessica Malone, and Willis Berry.
Survivors: Ruth is survived by her son, Reuben D. Walker and wife Karen; daughter, Roma Walker Livingston; grandchildren, Nelson Livingston and wife Brenda, Don Livingston and wife Wendy, Cynthia Walker, Jackie McIntyre and husband Shane, and Dana Livingston; great-grandchildren, Bud, Derrick, Reed, and Rebecca Livingston, Rachel and Brittney Gilbert, Gwyneth Schloer, Jordan Cobb, Kaelyn McIntyre, Kaelyn McIntyre, Emme Flinchum, and Tate and McCarthney Johnson; brother, Wendell Berry and wife Laura; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
