Samuel Doporto

Samuel Doporto of Keller, TX passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 1:35 pm. Sam ( as he was known to his family and friends) was retired from Eastside Union High School District in San Jose, CA.
Sam is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rosalie Doporto, whom he met while both attended L.A.B.T. in Ysleta, TX- just outside El Paso.
They moved to San Jose, CA. Shortly after, their oldest child, Annette Doporto, was born in Rosewell, NM, and after pastoring in Hagerman, NM, they made the Bay area their home for 45 years. Their second child was born there in San Jose, CA, Anthony (Tony) Doporto, now of Morgan Hill, CA, where the family lived from the summer of 1975 until 2007, when he and Rosalie both retired and moved to Keller, TX.
Sam is also survived by four grandchildren; Bianca and Stephen Tate of Keller, TX, Chloe Doporto of San Jose, CA, AE3, Brianna Mendoza (stationed currently in Atsugi, Japan with the US Navy) of Keller, TX, and Brandon Mendoza of Keller, TX.
He is also survived by his three siblings; Becky Deleon of Humble, TX, Rachel Harvey of Seguin, TX, and Salomon Munoz of Houston, TX.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother Cele Guzman who passed away April 14, 2018.
