Allen of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on April 1, 2018. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, caring son and brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, dear friend and colleague to all that knew and loved him.

Allen was born on May 8th in Vernon, Texas to Rick and Mary Lou Mills. The family moved to Arlington, Texas when Allen was one year old which is where he and his sisters were raised. Allen was accomplished in many areas and had many passions in life.

He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington. He participated in a Study Abroad program where he attended Richmond University and lived in London, England. Allen loved to travel and visited many places including France, Spain and Amsterdam to name a few. He had a passion for soccer and everyone knew that Chelsea FC was his favorite team! Allen started playing soccer when he was four years old, and played on a select team for many years. When he wasn't busy watching soccer, he was watching football and loved sports in general. Allen also loved music! He enjoyed being a DJ and sharing music with anyone that would listen. His friends, family, and being a Dad to his son, Alex, were the most important things in his life. Allen will also be remembered for his skills in debating and always being competitive. He enjoyed working with his hands and being creative. He was very intrigued by science and admired the great Albert Einstein because of Allen's love for physics. Allen was a caring and thoughtful person. He would help anyone he could whether it was a close friend or complete stranger.

Allen was preceded in death by his Grandparents Luis and Carmen Patlan, Annie Connell, and Milton Mills, his Aunt Reymunda Rangel and cousin Kameron Patlan.

He is survived by wife, Bianca Flores, three children Jacob and Katelyn Aldrich, and Alex Mills, his parents Rick and Mary Lou Mills, sister Carrie Strahan and her husband Jeff, and their children Jack and Luke, sister Rickie Hartmann, her husband Robert Hartmann, and their children Alyssa, Emery, and Ella. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
