Samuel Milus Weaver

Samuel Milus Weaver was born on January 27, 1927 in Dewar, Oklahoma to the late Judge N. Weaver, Sr. and Alma Mae (Clark) Weaver. He passed away on September 9, 2022 in Springtown, Texas at the age of 95 years old.

He graduated high school in Poteau, Oklahoma. He proudly served his country as a sergeant in the United States Army during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 73 years, Edna Joan (Wagner) Weaver, his parents, son, Samuel Weaver; and siblings, Leora, Jewell, Judge, Jr. and Tom. He is survived by his children, Jana Stull, Lea Bearry and Kevin Weaver. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Erma Alexander; brother, Gene Weaver and his wife, Deborah; numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family members. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 15, 2022 also at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst followed by interment with Army honors at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.
