Sandie Pond-Anderson

Sandie Pond-Anderson, 79, passed away on April 24, 2024. She was born on November 16, 1944 in the heart of Dallas, Texas to parents Arthur and Betty Bloomer. During her youth, she attended South Oak Cliff High School and was an active band member, playing clarinet in her school band and even becoming a majorette. Sandie furthered her education by going to East Texas State University.

She had a wide range of hobbies, but especially loved spending her time in the great Texan outdoors. Sandie would swim regularly and always enjoyed being near any body of water, and she really loved relaxing at the beach. Sandie also had an appreciation of horses and participated in horseback riding. When she wasn't doing outdoor activities, she spent her time reading, sewing, dancing, cooking for the holidays, and loved bonding with her grandchildren and being with her family.

Sandie is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Bloomer and Betty Bloomer, her husband Johnny Pond, son-in-law Scott Prestidge and daughter-in-law, Collene Lowe.

Sandie leaves behind many cherished loved ones, including her husband, Bill Anderson; his daughter, Jacque; son-in-law Ken and their children Jessica, Rachel, and Jeffrey; sons Robert Lowe, Bobbye Pond, Kevin Pond and his wife, Natalie; daughter Cherie Steuber and her husband, Chad; grandchildren Justin, Garrett, Ashley, Amanda, Emily, Chynna and Landon; great-grandchildren Renee and Khayman. There are also numerous family and friends she is survived by, as well her loving cat, Sadie. She will be truly missed by those that knew her.
