Sandra Lynn Paine

September 2, 1963 — May 24, 2022

Sandra Bennett Paine, 58, wife, mother and beloved daughter, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. She was born on September 2, 1963 to Ray Edward Bennett and Luz del Carmen Herrera Bennett in Chicago, IL. Sandy’s father proudly served 20 years in the military; therefore, she had the opportunity to live on or near installations such as Schofield Barracks HI; Fort Sam Houston TX; Grissom AFB IN and Reese AFB TX. Sandy graduated from Christ the King Catholic School in Lubbock, TX in 1981, where she was a cheerleader and earned Who’s Who in Academics.

During Sandy’s career, she was employed by the Dallas office of EMI Records, Universal Music & Video, and Bank of America. Though she had many roles, her most treasured role was as mother to her son Logan, whom she loved dearly. Sandy enjoyed baking pies for family members, especially pumpkin and lemon meringue pies, which she learned to bake from her paternal grandmother. Sandy’s dogs were her pride and joy and they loved spending time together lounging by the pool.

She was predeceased by her older brother Gerald Ray Bennett, paternal grandparents Edward and Marjorie Bennett, and maternal grandparents Jose and Margarita Herrera.

Survivors: Devoted husband of 36 years, William Paine; son, Logan Paine; parents, Lucy and Ray Bennett; sisters and spouses, Cheryl Halsell (Mark), Deborah Reis (Terrance); and an array of extended family and friends.

Private family services will be held.
