Sandra was born September 17, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas to Earl and Eunice Seabolt Canady. She grew up in Fort Worth and attended Azle High School.
Family was everything to Sandra. She was very close to her three siblings, all surviving her: Sue Palmer, Sheryl Hulsey and Rick Canady. They took care of each other as children, and continued to do so throughout life. In addition to being a strong and dedicated family woman, Sandra was a brilliant business mind, an avid bridge player, a world traveler and a friend to many.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Wayne Tennison.
She is survived by her two sons, the true loves of her life, Mark Tennison and wife, Lisa and Bryan Tennison and wife, Kirsten; grandchildren, Casey Tennison, Whitney Myers, Riley Tennison, Ashtyn and Hunter Tennison; and great-grandchildren, Harper and Hazel Tennison, and Francis Lea Myers. Sandra’s circle of loved ones is large, expanding outward like the circles on water when a stone is thrown in. There are too many surviving her to name whom she loved.
