Sandy was a fighter and ran a long race, as she recently said while in the hospital “I’m a fighter, I’m a Hornet!” (Oakland school mascot). No matter how sick she was, her determination to get better never wavered and her faith, hope and positivity never weakened through all that she endured. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Sandy, she just got tired but never lost her fight. She always provided love and support for her family and loved them unconditionally. She will be dearly missed by all her loved ones and friends, especially her husband Carl, son Jeff, daughter Denise and all her grandkids who adored and loved her with all their hearts. We know we can’t have you back but we’re happy and are at peace knowing that you are a believer in Christ and that the angels have come to take you home to live with your Lord and Savior and begin your heavenly life. It has never been good-bye but I'll see you later to a beautiful, wonderful and amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
