BEDFORD -- Sara Frances Hall, passed through death into the presence of her Lord Jesus Christ Monday, March 21, 2016.
Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Euless. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, her husband requests that donations be sent to Heritage Church Benevolence Fund, P.O. Box 820603, Fort Worth 76182.
Born in Headland, Alabama in 1930, Sara had lived in Tarrant County since coming with her husband, T. D., in 1954 after her graduation from Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama. They had been married 65 years. She was beloved as a mother of four, grandmother of 18, and great-grandmother of 13, and a mother in the faith to many others.
Sara's chief love in life was her Lord Jesus and the family and friends with whom she shared that love. She had taught, counseled, and encouraged hundreds over the years in many parts of the country. Her husband's fruitful ministry in the gospel could not have happened without her support and assistance. She passed on her love of singing and making music to her children and grandchildren. Those who knew her best enjoyed both her wisdom and her humor, either of which she could find in any aspect of life.
Survivors: Sara is survived by her husband, T.D., her son Dennis and his wife Judy, her son Tom and his wife Joy, and her son Dan and his wife Hazel. She is preceded in death by her only daughter, Donna Davis, her daughter-in-law Vicki, and her granddaughter Tiffany. She was herself the youngest of nine children, so her loss is felt also by many of her extended family.
