Savannah Mikayla Rivas

Savannah M. Rivas earned her angel wings and responded to the Lord’s call on June 18, 2019. She will be forever thirteen. Savannah is now watching over her parents Karen Rivas, Victor Rivas, her grandma Julia Bernal, her dog Nina, and her crazy bird Lightning.

Savannah enjoyed reading, nature, traveling, playing with animals, and visiting new places. Her favorite movie was the Harry Potter series and her favorite artist Ariana Grande. From her early years she dreamed of becoming a Lawyer; her love for reading and ability to argue in order to prove her point would have made her a great lawyer. She had a special power to unite people when differences were strong, and a very unique touch in matters of the heart.

Savannah taught us how to never ever give up, and we ask that you please carry on her legacy by living your life to the fullest. She loved life and truly wanted to live cancer-free. Her wish has finally come true because she will forever live in our hearts!

Her viewing will be held at Lucas Funeral Home at 1601 S Main Street, Keller, TX 76248 on Monday June 24, 2019 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. The chapel service will begin at 3:00PM and a celebration of Savannah’s life will be held right after the service at that location. We ask that you please carpool to the location when possible.
