Scott D. Dysthe passed away on November 10, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was 69 years of age.
Visitation: The family will greet guests from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. A prayer of the Rosary will be held that evening at 7:00 pm in the Lucas Chapel. Funeral Mass: 10:30 am Thursday, November 18, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, Texas.
Scott was born on September 18, 1952 to Douglas Kilen Dysthe and Patricia Marie Wathen in Slayton, Minnesota. He was a natural born athlete who won several awards for his prowess in Football, Basketball, and Track and Field while playing varsity sports at Chandler High School. Scott enjoyed playing Golf in adulthood. He met Geraldine Abejuela in 1994 and married her in October of 1997. Scott was a terrific husband, hard working, smart, humble, and also a simple man with a kind and loving heart. He watched FOX News almost 24-7! Scott will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in passing by his parents; his brother, Brad Dysthe; and son, Kilen Patrick Dysthe.
Survivors: his wife, Geraldine A. Dysthe; his children, Mikayla Dysthe and Caleb Dysthe; his grandchildren, John, Madison, Victoria, and Adelena; his sister, Dawn Dysthe Barrett and her husband, Randall; his brother, Mike Dysthe; and his nephew and nieces, Natalie, Reed, and Jaclyn.
