Scott Jones

Bryan “Scott” Jones of Keller, Texas ran his race, finished the course and kept the faith on August 3, 2019 sharing his life, doing what he loved with the people he loved at Lake Bridgeport, Texas at the age of 48.

Scott Jones was larger than life! He is survived by his adoring wife Christina Jones, his children: Jordan, Samuel, Morgan, Hunter, Riley, Gunnar, and Makenna; his father Randall Jones; his grandmother Doris Jones; his brother Brent Jones, wife Poppy and their children: Bryce and Lainey; his sister Lauren Gordon, husband Marty, and their children Lindsey, Kayla and Haley and uncle Doc Jones. Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Pat Jones; his grandfather, Bryan Jones; his grandparents Murl and Lennie Nash; his aunt, Carol Jones Shaffer and best friend Johnny Wyle.

Scott was born on June 21, 1971 in Bryan, Texas to Randall and Pat Jones. Scott graduated from Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas in 1989. Scott met Johnny, founder of a playground installation company. Before long, Scott decided that was what he wanted to do and Walk in the Park Construction was born. Scott was impassioned with CrossFit, opened his own gym, competed in multiple competitions, including advancement all the way to the Crossfit games where he placed in the top 3 in the world. Scott was never satisfied doing anything halfway! He lived life to the fullest. His passion included: riding motorcycles and spending time with the people he loved boating at the lake. Everything Scott did he did at full throttle, and the music was usually loud.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 2:00 – 3:00. Immediately followed by the funeral service at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas.
