Scott James Nelson, age 61, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020, in Roanoke, TX. He was born October 4, 1958 in Watertown, SD to Anita Jean Nelson and Claude James Nelson. After living all around the United States, he moved to Texas with his family in 2003 and worked as a senior vice president for Chase Paymentech.
He is survived by his son, Benjamin Claude Nelson of Grapevine, TX, daughter, Jenna Rose Nelson of Washington, DC, mother, Anita Jean Nelson of Boca Raton, FL, brother, Gregg Nelson of Herndon, VA, sister, Claudia Dunne of Boca Raton, FL , and his beloved nieces and nephews.
He treasured his strong friendships and filled the hearts of all of those around him with love and laughter. Scott’s great sense of humor and engaging stories put a smile on everyone’s face. His generosity and positivity will be warmly remembered and greatly missed by all of his friends and family.
