Scott "Gus" Swift

Scott (Gus) Swift, 65, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 21, 2016 in Hurst, TX. Services to be held at a later date.
Scott, a beloved father, brother and friend died peacefully after a brief illness.
Scott was born in Amarillo, TX in the year 1951 to WL and Bobbie (Elkins) Swift. He moved to Dallas, TX later in life and worked for various wholesale companies, retiring from Rug doctor after 17 years.
Scott's active lifestyle included travelling, playing golf and camping with his family. His favorite hobby was cooking on the grill.
As a Christian, he walked in faith, showing strength and love throughout his life.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Donna Swift. He is survived by his daughter Nicole (Kevin) Krause; brother Rick (Sylvia) Swift; sister Janis (Rich) Hackett; nephews Colby (Jennifer) Swift, Collin (Kathryn) Swift, Todd Scherer and Craig Scherer and one granddaughter Makayla Krause.
