Scotty Lee Mitchell, 49, born November 28, 1966, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall St, Grapevine.
Survivors: Daughters, Mallory and Morgan Mitchell; grandson, Liam O'Brien; parents, Larry and Brenda Thatcher,; brother and wife, Bobby and Stacey Mitchell; niece, Allissa Mitchell; companion, Andee Hatley; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death: father, Larry Mitchell and grandparents, Frank and Helen Fengler

To his Friends and Family,

Scotty was known as the person who could come in and light up a room with his infectious smile. He was blessed to find inspiration easily when it came to helping others and taking on his next project. He enjoyed spending time at the deer lease and the lake with his family and friends.
When he wasn't outside, he had a guitar in hand and a tune in his mind.
Most of all, he loved every chance he got to spend time with his two daughters, grandson and family.
His joyful spirit will be greatly missed by those whose lives he impacted.
