Cher Rae Lange was a best friend and wife to her devoted husband of 42 years, Dennis Lange. They were teenage sweethearts. They devoted their lives and marriage to being friends first. In doing so, Cher and Dennis showed everyone around them what a true love story looks like.
Cher was a mother, quite a few could say she was like a mother to them, but only two would be lucky enough to call her "Mom", her daughter, Stephanie Lytle, and son, Kermit Lange.
Cher's greatest passion was her family; she was also a second mother to Stephanie's husband, Kenneth Lytle, and Kermit's wife, Kristen Lange. She also leaves behind her four greatest prides, her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Kaelee, Jackson and Jared.
Cher is survived in death by her mother, Viola Reed, brother Keith Greenough and wife Martha, sister Barbara Kachulis and husband Pete, brother David Greenough, and brother Dwight Greenough and wife Esther. She is also survived in death by many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. Cher was preceded in death by her father, Gary Reed and brother, Wayne Greenough.
Cher leaves a legacy of friendship. If she touched your life, she touched your soul. Cher was the definition of friend. She is survived in death by countless friends, whose lives she touched and who touched her's. She was a kindred spirit.
Cher was born August 25, 1956 in Sioux City, Iowa and left us peacefully November 20, 2015 in Grapevine, Texas.
Cher Rae Lange's life celebration will be held at Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst at 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Reception to follow. The family asks that bright colors be worn by those in attendance.
