Sharon Elverine Houston

Sharon Houston, a devoted member of the Keller United Methodist Church and a beloved presence in her community, passed away on July 12, 2024, at the age of 84, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Jody Houston and daughter-in-law, Dr. Kathy Mandal, son Leslie Houston and her dear sister, Harlene Heidle.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Cleve Harlow , her husband John Houston , son Wesley Houston and her daughter Shelley Sakai. 

Sharon will always be remembered for her warm and welcoming spirit, her love for baking, especially her famous lemon bars and chocolate cake, bringing joy to those around her with every delightful treat. An avid animal lover, she found comfort and companionship in the many pets she cared for over the years, filling her home with the love and presence of her beloved cats and dogs. 

A Memorial Service to celebrate Sharon's life and legacy will be held at Keller United Methodist Church on August 12, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to join in honoring her memory and sharing stories of her kindness and generosity.
