Sharron Lynn Bonner

Sharron Lynn Shipps Bonner, 85 of Burleson, left this earth peacefully January 30, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 6:00pm, Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Ave, in Burleson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, February 7, 2022 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Burleson Memorial Cemetery.

Sharron was born July 3, 1936 in Arkoe, Missouri to Seth and Fern Shipps. She was quoted more than once saying “I was almost a firecracker.”

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ronald G Bonner; daughter, Sherry Bonner Donaldson; parents, Seth and Fern Shipps; brother, David K Shipps; and sister, Diane Shipps Barnett.

Sharron is survived by her son, Ron Bonner, Jr. and wife, Patti; son-in-law, Don Donaldson; daughters, Terry Bonner Jones and husband, Tony and Judy Bonner Smitherman and husband, Smitty; grandchildren, Misty Valtierra and husband, Chris, Joe Attaway and wife, Bailey, Jesse Smitherman and wife, Chelsea, Seth Bonner, Randi Bonner, and Tony Jones Jr; and many cherished great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
