Shelley “GG” Gamm Gingras, 71, of Fort Worth, Texas, celebrated her first night with Jesus on February 1, 2025. She was surrounded by friends and family during her final moments on this earth. Shelley was born on November 5, 1953, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late William "Bill" and Bette Montgomery Gamm.
She is survived by her brother, William "Bill" Gamm Jr., and wife Mary; her daughter, Alesia Shehan, and husband Aaron; her son, Ethan Gingras, and wife Ashley; her grandchildren, Sheldon McConnell and wife Carry, Lucas McConnell and wife Gracie, and Tinsley Gingras; her step-grandchildren Tyler Shehan and Tayler Shehan; as well as many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. She is now reunited in Heaven with her parents and her grandson, Reece McConnell.
Shelley was married to David Gingras in January, 1972, and though their paths later diverged, they shared a family and many memories together and remained friends. She built a career as a dedicated Loan Closer, known for her attention to detail and work ethic. But her true passion lay in the simple joys of life—caring for her family, nurturing her plants, and creating beautiful crochet pieces that will continue to warm those she loved. Whether it was gathering for holidays, cheering on her grandchildren in their activities, or traveling on family vacations, Shelley cherished every moment and made sure those around her felt loved. She was a woman of quiet strength and deep kindness, always putting others before herself and creating a home filled with laughter and affection. Shelley’s love and generosity will live on through her family, her many handmade creations, and the countless lives she touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages loved ones to carry forward her love of gardening, crafting, and family togetherness in their own lives. Shelley will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
