Sherrill Lea Davis Geiger

Sherrill Lea (Davis) Geiger was born February 18, 1948 in Houston, Texas to the late James Douglass Davis Jr. and Bevy Rae (Curlee) Davis. She passed in her home on February 15, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 72 years old.

Lea was a gracious, loving, and kind wife, mother, grandmother (better known as Mimi), and friend to her family and friends. She worked in the medical field for her entire career serving and taking care of others as an office nurse for an OB/Gyn. Her face would light up when she was spending time with her granddaughters and she made every effort to attend all of their activities. Lea loved to travel, love to shop, and loved spending time with her family and friends. More than that, she loved the Lord, and He has made her whole.

Lea was proceeded in death by her parents, and by her son, Kevin Geiger. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Geiger of North Richland Hills, Texas; daughter, Lisa (Geiger) Chesser and husband Bryon Chesser of Fort Worth, Texas; granddaughters Makayla Chesser, Sarah Chesser and Emma Chesser of Fort Worth, Texas; granddaughter Chastitye Geiger of Rhome, Texas; and granddaughter Chelsye (Geiger) Cisneros and husband Joseph Cisneros of Oceanside, California.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, Texas. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 25, 2021 at The Hills Church of Christ in North Richland Hills, Texas. Interment will be at 3:00 P.M., Friday, March 5, 2021 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
