Sherry Ann Godwin

Sherry Ann Godwin, 78, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at her home, in Irving, TX. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 14, 2020 at Caddo Cemetery in Joshua, TX.
Sherry was born August 29,1941 in Malvern, AR to Charles and Mary Hendrix. She grew up in Little Rock, AR. She met and eloped with her childhood sweetheart who had joined the Navy. They were married for many years and after their four girls were grown, Sherry obtained her real estate license and worked for many years for Top Producers in Burleson, TX. She enjoyed painting, gardening and spoiling her dogs.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and two brothers.
Sherry is survived by her daughters Kimberley Crisp and husband, Brett of Joshua, TX, Donna Heffington of Irving, TX, Melinda Fields of Fort Smith, AR, and Suzane Manette of Irving, TX; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Talley of Montgomery, AL; and sister Lynn Williams and husband, Steve of Grapevine, TX.
