Shirley Rose Chidiac

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Shirley Rose. After a great show of strength against various ailments including a recent diagnosis of acute leukemia, Rose, age 82 was called to heaven on Sunday, August 20, 2017.

Rose was born in Paterson, New Jersey, was married at 21 and had 7 children. She relocated to Texas in February 1992 where she enjoyed spending most of her time with family and volunteering. Rose adored her role as grandmother "Sito" to Amanda, Avery, Alyssa, Andrew, Collin, Joseph, Madison, Damion, Jaeden and Samuel. She most recently, joyously became a great-grandma to Cayden. Rose was a devoted and beloved mother, cherished grandmother and wonderful friend to anyone who knew her. Her kind and giving heart brought warmth and love to everyone around her and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Annie Balady; and her husband, Raymond.

She is survived by her brother, Louis Balady; and her children JoAnn, Raymond, Michael, Veronica, Lawrence, James and Renee.
