Shirley Mae Kundrat

Keller, Texas - Shirley Mae (de St. Jean) Kundrat, 90, formerly of Highland, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 2, 2021 surrounded by loving family at her home in Keller, Texas. Shirley raised four children and went back to school as an adult to become a teacher, and she continued to volunteer in a local elementary school into her late eighties. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She lived a life of service to and love for others. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her seven siblings, and her husband of 59 years, Edward Kundrat. She is survived by her children Linn (Ron) Jencopale, Karen (Greg) Russell, Cheryl Hudson, and Ed Kundrat, Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11:30 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller. A private interment for the family will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Shirley’s name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
