Sidonia Gayle Varasse

Sidonia Gayle Varasse, 76, of Keller, Texas, passed away on January 21, 2023 in Grapevine, Texas. She was born on February 2, 1946 in Granite, Oklahoma to Travis and Wanda Jernigan. Sidonia married Pete Varasse on February 11, 1982 and celebrated 41 years together. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma sister, friend and colleague to all that knew and loved her. She worked many years in marketing and manufacturing account management. Sidonia enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and watching hummingbirds. She loved her family dearly and cherished every moment spent together. She leaves behind many memories and will be missed by all who loved her.

Sidonia is survived by her husband, Pete Varasse of the home; siblings Mark Jernigan, Sherry Kelley and Nanci and husband, Ray Tipton, all of Oklahoma. Children: Kevin Turner and wife Dani, Donna and husband Bruce Sanchez, Robin and husband Matt Haley, all of Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Lindsey and husband Taylon Ables, Ray Varasse and wife Sharon, Braden Sanchez and wife Kelsey, Mariah and husband Chris Penland, Bryan Sanchez, Kati Turner, Justin Haley and wife Carter, Blake Sanchez and wife
Ashleigh, Eric Clifton and Memphis Turner. Great-grandchildren: Raheem Hernandez, Lily Varasse, Reagan Penland, Harper Varasse, Haven Sanchez, Koe Penland and Shepherd Sanchez.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wanda and Travis Jernigan; daughter Denys Cook; stepson Mike Varasse, and mother-in-law Frances Varasse.
