Sonja Lee Anthony

Sonja Lee Anthony of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 in Keller, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born on Saturday, June 21, 1947 in Stillwater, Minnesota to Myrtle Carlson and Donald Carlson. Sonja loved spending time with her family and enjoyed attending church gatherings. She had a lengthy career at Keller ISD as a Cafeteria Manager where she adored being a kind face and gave hugs to all those she served. She loved watching Hallmark movies, reading mystery novels, playing Solitaire, baking and cooking, and being a grandmother.

Sonja is survived by her Daughters, Amanda Moses and Alex Cook; son-in-laws, Anthony McCann, Donald Moses and Randy Cook; Grandchildren, Clohey Moses, Krystal Moses, Avery Moses, Rex Cook and Kaylee Cook; Sisters, Sig Koukol, Amy Baumann, Pam Walstad, Lori Lesperance; brother, Donald Carlson, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Myrtle Carlson; Father, Donald Carlson, Sister Josie Englund; Husband, James William Anthony; Son, Jimmy Anthony; Daughter, Tracie McCann; Grandson,James McCann.
