Stephanie Stricker

Stephanie Stricker, 56, of Grapevine, Tx., went to join our Lord in Heaven on Friday, March 31st. Memorial will be at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, TX at 2pm on Wednesday April 5th. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was born in Memphis, TN on August 26, 1960 to Richard Torina Sr. and Lynne Snyder Herring. She married the love of her life, Jeff Stricker, on March 1st, 1988. She worked for American Airlines as a flight attendant from 1984 until she retired in 2007.

She was the most genuine, kind person who loved to care for people, giving the most authentic hugs paired with the most infectious laugh one could ever hear. She was a devout lover of animals, especially to Rudy and Tobey. Sundays were Jeff’s and her day to make their favorite dinner, pot roast with potatoes. Nona was her name to her grandchildren, Kamden and Grey, they truly adored her. She was the purest of heart and never met a stranger.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff, of Grapevine; step-daughter, Jayme Lambert and husband Jared; grandchildren Kamden and Grey of Little Elm; mother Lynne Herring; father Richard Torina Sr.; brother Richard Torina Jr; sister Angela Parks and husband Bob; nephews Wesley and Taylor, all of Big Spring, TX. Also survived by, and will always be loved by, all of Jeff’s family and so many friends.
