Stephen Wayne Gehres

Stephen Wayne Gehres, 59, of Grapevine, died August 30, 2016 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas.
Steve was born July 28, 1957, in Stamford, New York, to J Philip and Gerry Gehres.
He was a graduate of South Kortright Central School in upstate New York.
In 1983, he moved to Texas to begin his career as a program analyst for Texas Instruments. He retired from TI in 1998. Steve enjoyed basketball, tennis, bicycling, windsurfing and woodworking. He is survived by his wife, of 26 years, Donna Gehres of Grapevine and his beloved Shih Tzu, Kuddlez, his parents, J Philip and Gerry Gehres of Newark DE; brother Mark (Jen) Gehres of Ocean Springs, MS; sisters Rebecca Gehres of Hurst, Elizabeth (Tom) Lukacs of South River NJ, and Deborah (John) Van Varick of Newton NJ; and many nieces & nephews.
