Steven Edward Anderson was born September 16, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Michele Ann Hamelin and Larry George Anderson. He passed away on September 21, 2021 at home in Arlington, Texas.

Steven worked for American Airlines and was a union steward for the local TWU 513. His dedication to his union service was unmatched and was always willing to help his brothers and sisters of the union. He was a fierce negotiator but he has a big sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. He was a gunsmith and a member of the Fort Worth Trap and Skeet Club. Steve was a scuba diver and loved the beach. He was also an excellent photographer. Steve was a loving husband, stepfather, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul Anderson.
He survived by his wife, Shelley Donelle Anderson of Arlington; sister, Laurie Fernandez and her husband, Victor of Santa Barbara; stepchildren, Laini Gentry and husband, Joe; Noah Sherrell, and Caleb Sherrell; granddaughter, Zoe Gentry; sister-in-law, Leanna Anderson of Johnsburg, Illinois; brother-in-law, Ben Stanley of Greenville; sister-in-law, Lori Foster and husband, Eric of Wills Point; and sister-in-law, Ami Price and husband, Damon of Garland; nieces and nephews, Abigail Anderson, Aric Anderson, Jeremy Nilsson, Erik Nilsson, Victoria Fernandez, Brandon Fernandez, and Isabel Fernandez. Steve is also survived by his fur babies, Lola and Maddie.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, Texas.
