His soft-spoken demeanor, kind and gentle personality, and love for people made his job at Walmart the perfect fit. He loved meeting new people and talking to others. He had a welcoming soul that drew complete strangers to him. He rarely missed a day of work, as the joy he received in talking with and meeting new people was something he absolutely loved.
Steve married the love of his life, Claudia Mae Baker, on June 30, 2001, in Las Colinas, Texas, and together they enjoyed traveling, gardening, and taking care of their dogs.
