Steven Ray Potts

Steven R. Potts, of Watauga, TX, passed away on March 23, 2025 at his home in Watauga, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving father, friend and colleague to all that knew and loved him. He was born on December 1, 1953 in Macon, GA to Harley Ray Potts, Jr. and Treva Lee (Stevens) Potts. Steve enjoyed playing golf, fishing, camping and hanging out with his friends and family. He is survived by his son, Michael Potts of Midland, TX; his son, Jason Potts and daughter-in-law, Debbie Potts of Midland, TX; his brother, James Potts of Urbana, OH; his sister, Rebecca Johnson of Springfield, OH; his sister, Sandra Harris of Hudson, FL; 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

He was preceded in death by parents Harley and Treva Potts, sister Deborah Harford, and brother Ronald Potts. The memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 3 rd at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, TX 76053.
