Steven Delaney Stoup

Steven Stoup, 72, passed away on April 10, 2022.
He was born on November 11, 1949, to Adolph Abraham & Mildred Laverne (Scheller) Stoup in Childress, Texas.
Steven served in the grocery business on and off through out his life. His first job at age 14 was at Buddies Grocery in Irving, Texas. He has served at Albertson’s, Tom Thumb, and most recently at Kroger on Southlake Boulevard, where he worked up until his diagnosis with stage 4 kidney cancer. He proved his loyalty and that he would always be available to work, especially on major holidays, including Thanksgiving Day (half day), Christmas Eve (all day), Christmas Day (half day), 4th of July, and so on. He never stopped working hard. After his diagnosis he even worked hard to fight cancer and stay alive.
Steven is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Ann “Becky” Stoup; grandchildren, Hamza, Nathaniel, and Jonathan; and mother, Mildred Laverne Stoup.
