Willa Sue Parks Jackson, age 92, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017.
She was born November 28, 1924 in Winters, Texas. She graduated from Draughon's Business College, and was working at Abilene Army Airfield later known as Dyess Air Force Base, when she met Carl Jackson. Sue and Carl were married on April 15, 1949, and lived in Abilene for a short time. They lived in Wichita Falls for many years and were members of First United Methodist Church. They moved to Waco for three years and settled in Hurst in 1967. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church for 47 years.
Sue was preceded in death by Carl, her beloved husband of 62 years.
She is survived by her three sons, David and wife Lina, Steve and wife Dawn and Keith and wife Mynette; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
