Sultan Hamid Mohmand passed away on December 29, 2017.
Visitation: Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Lucas Funeral Home from 9:00-11:00am. Graveside Service: 12:00 pm at Burleson Cemetery. A formal procession will leave the funeral home after visitation at 11:00am. A celebration of life will be held at a location given at the cemetery.
Sultan was born on February 1, 1972 in Kabul Afghanistan to parents, Hamid and Nazifa Mohmand. They moved to America in 1982. Sultan graduated High school from Haltom High. He did a lot of different things until finding his true passion in Nursing. Sultan loved fishing, Star Wars, traveling, he especially loved his family. He was funny, smart and kind and will be missed very much.
He is survived by his parents, Hamid and Nazifa Mohmand; sons, Sultan Mohmand Jr and Clayton Wooldridge; daughters, Alex Mohmand and Chasity McKinney; fiancé, Cyndi Jochum; ; brothers, Nasser Mohmand and Jamil Mohmand and wife, Kara; sister Nazanen Mohmand; nephews, Jarrod, Lucas, Caleb, and Jacob; niece, Rachel, and many other extended family and friends.
