Oluwabukola Christiana Adetula, affectionately known as "Sunshine," was born on April 4, 1981, in Ilesha, Nigeria, to her beloved parents, the late Samuel Olaleye Oni and Rachael Anike Oni. Her early years were marked by a captivating spirit and an impeccable sense of style that showcased a deep love for beauty. From a young age, Sunshine poured her heart into everything she touched—her passion for fashion, art, and creating elegantly decorated spaces was reflected in every detail of her life.
Sunshine's childhood was filled with radiant smiles and a fearless pursuit of her dreams. Her faith journey began early, inspired by the stories of her father’s achievements rooted in his unwavering trust in Christ. This foundational faith blossomed as she actively participated in her church’s Sunday school and nurtured a profound love for singing, often moved to tears by the stirring hymns that resonated with her soul.
Her educational journey took her through St. Andrew's Primary School in Owo, Ondo State, and continued at St. Louis Girls Grammar School, where she graduated with grace. Sunshine's pursuit of knowledge led her to the University of Ibadan, where she graduated in 2004, laying the groundwork for her fulfilling career as a beauty and fashion consultant and interior décor expert.
Sunshine found love in marriage to Adediran Adetula, and together they became proud parents to two beautiful children, Tobiloba and Tomiwa Adetula. Through her kind-hearted nature and loving spirit, she enriched the lives of those around her and was always willing to lend a helping hand with her radiant smile that brightened even the darkest days.
Her hobbies, which included arts, fashion, and interior decoration, were not just pastimes but passions that she shared generously with others.Psalm 91 resonated deeply with Sunshine, offering her strength and comfort throughout her life’s journey.
Though her time with us was far too brief, the legacy of her beautiful soul, love for family, and dedication to her passions will forever be cherished. As we remember Sunshine, we celebrate the warm light she brought into our lives and the joyful memories she created. Her spirit will continue to inspire us and shine brightly in our hearts.
