Susan Graysia Axley, 70, died on Tuesday, August 8th while vacationing in Durango, Colorado.
Her memorial service will be held on August, 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth, 1000 Penn St.

She was born Susan Graysia Huguley on June 14, 1947 to Virginia and Edward Huguley in El Paso, Texas.
Having lived in places like Japan, Guam, and France, Susan realized that she loved to travel and continued to do so throughout her life. One of her favorite places to spend time was on the island of St. John in the Caribbean.
She actively participated in several book clubs, garden clubs and loved meeting friends for lunch. She was also a dedicated learner of the Bible and received great joy from pursuing its teachings.
Susan enjoyed being a lifelong learner and after receiving her MBA, continued her career at General Dynamics, Halliburton and retired after working for Burlington Northern Santa Fe for over 17 years.
Lastly, Susan treasured her church and church family. She adored the clergy at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, Texas and was extremely thankful and appreciative of their on-going support, spiritual guidance and fellowship over the last 4 years in particular.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 42 years, Don Axley of Fort Worth, daughter Heather Holt, husband Stephen and son Hayden from Marblehead, MA. Brother Robert Huguley and wife Jan from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and niece Michelle Moore from Liberty, Missouri.
