Susan Elaine Kelley
June 3, 1945 — December 28, 2022
Susan Elaine Kelley was born on June 3, 1945 in Akron, Ohio to the late Eleanor Lois (Swearingen) Kelley and Ralph Cyrus Kelley. She passed away on December 28, 2022 at home in Euless, Texas at the age of 77 years old.
Susan graduated from Tallmadge High School in Ohio and retired from the Dallas Fort Worth Airport Board after 20 years of service. She then worked with her daughter most recently at LifeSynch.
Susan liked to play video poker with her friends and family and she enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino in Oklahoma and Louisiana. She also like to watch her favorite shows old westerns, The Golden Girls, and Judge Judy. She also liked to go on cruises and of course enjoying the sunsets.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Ralph Kelley and sister, Thelma Jean Kelley.
She is survived by her daughters, Kelley Sue Moore and husband, Charles of Alvarado, Texas and Melissa Mae Null and husband, Joseph of Euless, Texas; grandchildren, Rees Beddow, Jacob Beddow, Samantha Barker, and Kayla Null; brother, Harry Kelley and wife, Sandy of Dalton, Georgia; brother, Richard Kelley and wife Rita of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; sister-in-law, Connie Kelley of Akron, Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A memorial service to celebrate Susan’s life will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst located at 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas 76053.
